August 27, 200421 yr Thanks Laura! I got tix from a buddy who has season tix, catch is it is for the Texans game. Oh well, I just want to see the field. Haven't gotten there for about 5 years. Is there a train station that gets off near there?

Is there a train station that gets off near there? I usually take the Metra Electric Line, and that stops off at Roosevelt Road, just minutes from Soldier Field. It's nice, too, because in Flossmore, there's no parking fee. I'll be there tonight, preseason game numero three.

I thought it was going to be mayham. Anyway... we are settled in a nice group of season ticket holders. We're in 353 and have excellent view of the entire field versus being too low and not able to see what's going on at the south end. One thing I noticed.. and maybe it's cause I haven't been to many football games over the past 5 years.. is the swearing. Holy cow.. every 5 second someone was dropping an F bomb. Other than that, nice crowd. And Bears fans were even nice to the Saints fans.

As for the parking, we had to park in the 14$ lot, but we just decided to walk it so we didnt have to wait for the shuttle. Just thank god it wasnt storming. I didnt hear too much swearing by me, but when a guy wearing a Packers jersey came by our section everyone started yelling at him. The best part of the night: The Halftime Show!!!!
