Why does yahoo's boxscore not state that he got a save? No sport site on the internet has a box score that says so.

Also after the game during the post game show they never ever mentioned that he got a save and they always do afterwards.

Shingo Takatsu does infact get his 17th save of the year... A save is when a pitcher ends the game that he comes into, when the tieing run is in the hole.  Shingo came in with a 3 run lead, and the tieing run was in the hole, therefore, it is a save :headbang

The tyipng run has to be on deck. According to mlb.com's stats site, Shingo still has 16 saves. Gameday box score also shows no save recorded. ;) Just saw the highlights on ESPNEWS, no save.
