September 10, 200421 yr Author Fine, whatever. Bowden is more forgiving than most. If you don't believe my argument then believe that I hate Florida St. as a mild Florida fan that hates the FSU jerseys and chant. You came up with one example, and that example was kicked off the team and not given a second chance. Your argument has been weak.
September 10, 200421 yr You came up with one example, and that example was kicked off the team and not given a second chance. Your argument has been weak. I don't feel like arguing. So let's agree that I hate FSU and you don't. I don't give a flying f*** what you think. I hate that school.
September 10, 200421 yr Author I don't feel like arguing. So let's agree that I hate FSU and you don't. I don't give a flying f*** what you think. I hate that school. You'll hate 'em even more after they whoop some Miami ass.
September 10, 200421 yr FSU's NFL players don't refer to their college as 'The U'. Miami develops more ego's than any college could even dream about. "I'm a soldier!" Shut the hell up Kellen. Both schools produce huge egos. That argument doesn't count.
September 10, 200421 yr Author Both schools produce huge egos. That argument doesn't count. Agreed to a certain extent. But there aren't may Kellen Winslow's and Jeremy Shockey's coming from FSU.
September 10, 200421 yr Agreed to a certain extent. But there aren't may Kellen Winslow's and Jeremy Shockey's coming from FSU. Don't forget Warren Sapp, Michael Irvin, Edgerrin James etc.
September 10, 200421 yr Author Don't forget Warren Sapp, Michael Irvin, Edgerrin James etc. I didn't want to mention Sapp. I'm a Bucs fan, though he's a Raider now.
September 10, 200421 yr Miami certainly produces more. They also produce better talent too. Usually, the amount of talent and the amount of egos is proportional.
September 10, 200421 yr Miami certainly produces more. They also produce better talent too. Usually, the amount of talent and the amount of egos is proportional. Talent goes in cycles for both teams. It wasn't long ago that Miami was going 5-6, 4-7, etc. Their egos remain constant, deservedly or not.
September 10, 200421 yr Talent goes in cycles for both teams. It wasn't long ago that Miami was going 5-6, 4-7, etc. Their egos remain constant, deservedly or not. That doesn't surprise me either though I guess. Must be something in the water
September 11, 200421 yr Didn't read the whole thread, so I hope I'm the first one to say FSU blowout ;-). I predicted 31-21 before it started. Miami just doens't compare very favorably to FSU this year, not to mention FSU will be wanting to defend their ACC dominance. I just don't see Miami winnning. If they do, FSU will be completely demoralized.
September 11, 200421 yr Two of the best defenses I've seen all year right here. I already told you guys -- The top 2 defences play tomorrow in Iowa...
September 11, 200421 yr Makes me sick seeing all the speed on the field and knowing UNC will have to face both. We get a similarly talented team in Virginia tomorrow, yipee. We will see how that goes.
September 11, 200421 yr Makes me sick seeing all the speed on the field and knowing UNC will have to face both. We get a similarly talented team in Virginia tomorrow, yipee. We will see how that goes. Virginia is nothing to be afraid of. Shut down Lundy, you win the game.
September 11, 200421 yr Yeah its gonna be tougher than that though. Alvin Pearman has unreal speed, he was actually the only player in the nation last year to beat Xavier Carter in a race. Ran something like a 10.31 100M's. If they force Virginia into passing, then we have a chance. But UV's OLine is awesome and I'm afraid they will pound the ball down our throats. Chris Rix still doesn't know when to throw the ball away, jeez.
September 11, 200421 yr Wow 36 yards of total offense. The defense has gained 61 yards And still leads 10-0. FSUs D is awesome.
September 11, 200421 yr Wow 36 yards of total offense. The defense has gained 61 yards And still leads 10-0. FSUs D is awesome. Their D could have been as good last year, but Bowden doesn't bench upperclassmen.
September 11, 200421 yr I wouldn't be suprised to see Kyle Wright start to get more and more of Berlin's playing time. He just doesn't fit in talent wise with the rest of the team. What a screwed up call to end the half, don't have a timeout and get one for free because your OT is calling for a TO you don't have. BRILLIANT!
September 11, 200421 yr Talent goes in cycles for both teams. It wasn't long ago that Miami was going 5-6, 4-7, etc. Their egos remain constant, deservedly or not. Wasn't that when Miami was under probation or something?
September 11, 200421 yr If Wyatt comes in, expect a heavy dose of Bookwashington, the two-headed monsterrrrrr.
