September 17, 200421 yr ok... we've gone through the avaiable pitchers already, alot of people looking at 'sleepers' and alright possibilities..... but this time i think KW is sick of the state of the pitching, as again he said he is looking for a front of the line guy... we have too many middle and end guys I still think that Pedro could happen... other than that perhaps clement, but pavano ist quite on top, neither is perez or ortiz dont forget, if maggs doesnt come back, there is more money to use for a pitcher....

Pavano is a top flight starter, imo.
September 17, 200421 yr I always wonder why no one mentions morris. Outside of this year he has been damn good.
September 17, 200421 yr I always wonder why no one mentions morris. Outside of this year he has been damn good. Probably because of the amount of homeruns he's given up this year and we know how homerun friendly the cell is.

September 17, 200421 yr Clement and his losing career and 2004 records obviously indicate that he should be uttered in the same breath as Pedro (no last name required) -- Not until he's known as Matt, in baseball circles for another reason other than being a welcome "mat" to a victory for the opposing team... NO.
September 17, 200421 yr Unless Morris has regained his velocity...he lost it. Instead of hitting in the 90s, he was hitting more around the mid-to-high 80s from what I remember of him. Still, if the price were right, he'd be a good guy to look at.
September 17, 200421 yr i think if we get pedro an push the fences back out we will win the w.s. that would give us the rotation in baseball.
