qwerty
After seeing carlos's leaping catch it really sank in how much he has improved defensively this year. Only carl crawford and him and him both have perfect fielding percentages. Also he is second for left fields in outfield assists behind bonds. He is fifth in range factor and 8th in zone rating would is solid. Mad props to carlos on a muched improved defensive season.

Rowand44
So who wants to see Carlos gone after this season... All I know is at the beginning of the season I really wanted him to get traded. Well, lets just say I'm an idiot I know you'll like that ace. EDIT: I still think either him or Pauly need to get traded but I was definitely wrong about carlos, he still bugs the crap out of me at times but he works his ass off and has become a very solid overall player. WilliamTell
He's been steadily improving year after year out there. It's great to see him make a jump like he's done this year.
SoxAce
Well ya if we get a s*** load in return. Thats the key right there. I would trade him if we get a good offer. If not, why bother? Ya know ya know.

Elcaballo45
Im trying to figure out how this topic is 2 years late. 3 years ago, Carlos was horrible. He worked his butt off the that following off season, and the last 2-3 years have produced more web gems than any other Sox player. Now granted, sometimes his awkward plays(falling on his ass on a foul ball while still catching it, getting caught on the wall at Fenway) catch the highlight reels more than some, but he's been improving since that 2000 season. He may have even got over his Dome syndrome, where he loses the ball in the white ceiling at either Minn or Toronto.

WilliamTell
Yeah he had more errors in 2003 than 2002, but his range was a lot better.

In 2002 his range factor was 2.04. Not that big of differance actually.

Range is no matter for Carlos... Soon the Sox will play 8 infielders with Carlos covering all 3 fields.
