October 1, 200421 yr "Hell, let's make this a nice spacious place where line drive & gap hitters thrive - not to mention the pitchers." This would be my dream scenerio! I would love to watch a team of .280-.300 doubles hitters in the molds of CLee and ARow
October 1, 200421 yr Here's to you Buehrle-mon on a great season. Now try teaching your buddy Garland how to pitch consistantly!!
October 1, 200421 yr I'll join in.... MARK B!!!!! If 16-10 is a "decline and fall", I'll take it!!! AGAIN Mark gets more wins than the IMMORTAL "Kid K" has ever had in a season....
October 2, 200421 yr Congrats, Mark! You make the #56 cool! Over the great Brian McRae? Surely you jest!
October 2, 200421 yr 16-10 and lead AL in innings pitched MB has had a good season and can build for 2005.
October 2, 200421 yr Help him out and move those fences back a little. I could be wrong but I think his road ERA was under 3 this year. Good job Mark. Except for a bad first half of 2003. he's been as steady as they come in the hitting oriented AL.
October 3, 200421 yr I just wanted to put this out there. Good to see Mark finish the season strong and show us what he can do. 16 wins and an era under 4 where a lot of us didn't think he would finish. He goes underappreciated often with White Sox fans and I just wanted to say congrats. He works his ass off, pitches good more often than not and is always an innings eater. Great job to this season Mark and looking forward to many more Year in and year out he's solid for us. to the Sox for locking him up for a while.
October 3, 200421 yr I certainly hope when people think of #56 they think Buehrle. Of course, it'd also be neat if there wasn't another #56 for the Sox. Ever.
