Depending on the number, you could probably try snipers. Let's hope it doesn't come to that though.

If our command officers were not expecting the possibility of guerilla warfare or "ambushes" (the British b****ed about us doing that in the Revolution...) they should be shot. War is not a by the rules matter with referees and fouls called... and when you go for regime change you expect every tool to be used in a fight to the death. No naivte allowed. I am very confident that our command officers had expected everything however. I think the news media is being a bit goggle eyed at reality.

if saddam (or whoever is in charge) starts using human shields around baghdad as we show up he will probably start killing them himself wit h mortar fire then use it as propaganda saying the US is killing iraqi civilians

 

he cant win this war..all he can do is try and win the war of opinion ,especially in the arab world...he is hoping images of supposedly american troops blasting away on iraqi civilians will enrage the arab world even more

my wishes goes to you, my godson is in the seals and been out there for a very long time. right after 9/11 he left for the persian gulf with some leave here and there.

esp to build up more hatre against us.

As of now they don't want to inconvience the Iraqi's. They want them to all know this war is for them. They don't want to turn of the power, etc. EMF bombs are very interesting though.

The iraqi national guard has its own supply lines and water... If we siege its the general populace we would starve to death.

I am already enraged at the deaths of the Arabs and of all the Americans that have died and been wounded so far. It sickens me that George W. Chickenhawk is using this to lower oil prices and to increase his public opinion. Support the troops, send them home.

I am not saying that it is his only reason, but it sure beats the lies that he has fed the American public. Cheaper oil (since the strike in Venezuela, we can always use new avenues of oil) and of course the upcoming election support needed to be re-elected may not be exclusive reasons but they are most definitely prominent ones.

I just hope the Arab world has the common sense to not believe a tyrant dictator who murders prisoners of war. But then again, a lot of those people think Jews are responsible for Sept 11, so my hopes arent likely...
