Guest JimH
Funny. Could it be they wanted to play on a team with even a remote chance of making the playoffs? I am tired of this stupid, banging my head against a wall, thread. I cannot get it through to you people that, as long as you blindly support the team, they have no incentive to make the product better. I am (was) as guilty of this as any of you. I bought a 9-game package last year, as I have over the past 3 -5 years, I have purchased several Sox caps, jerseys, jackets, etc. I watch as many games as I can on tv (and will continue to do so), but I'm not "giving" more to the team until I see the team "giving" us more. Have a nice day/weekend. Who said we are blindly supporting the team? Is everything black and white to you, have you no ability to reason? I can only speak for myself, and I'm as critical as any of some things the organization does. I do not, however, take the ridiculous path of coming onto a fan website and trying to jam a boycott down everyone's throat. For every loose cannon who thinks they know how to do things better, there are a thousand people who enjoy going to the games, support the franchise, root for the team, and don't have some borderline maniacal desire to view everything negatively. You've been given numerous facts on why certain players couldn't be obtained, and all you do is bounce around here like a checker on a checkerboard, going from player to player and whining why they weren't acquired. Worse, you're completely misinformed. You started this whole discussion by talking about payroll, and how the Sox always seek to lower payroll. When it was pointed out to you by three posters you were wrong, you went on with your griping about how the players the Sox acquire somehow don't match up to your personal expectations. Why should the White Sox, or true fans, give a crap about what you say? You don't support the team anyway. You just chime in from the peanut gallery, with misinformation, uniformed opinions, and blowhard blather about how YOU have the answers. Do the White Sox a favor ... go away. Take your nine game plan with you. You're nothing but a bandwagon jumper. Quit telling us how many caps, jerseys, etc. you buy. Bandwagon jumping is what Cubs fans do. Have an even better weekend. I can only respond to your (stupid) posting with something that has been said to me dozens of times...your credibility is lessened by making your attacks personal. Please refrain from doing so, or suffer the consequences of your actions. BTW, I don't claim to have the answers; but, since the Sox haven't won jack-s**t since ownership took over, I guess they don't have the answers either. (Their way isn't working, they have to try another way!!!)

Don't worry about my credibility, you don't have time ... after all, shouldn't you be out passing around your Boycott the White Sox flyers?? If you care to explain your threat, go ahead.
