He never really took care of his body the way someone should. But my condolonces go out to his family, friends and former teammates.

It's my opinion that the Coke killed him not the roids. From what I have heard roids appear to be linked more to stomach and liver issues versus heart issues.

That's what they were saying on the radio. I remember hearing something about him having a drug problem (besides the roids issue).

October 11, 200421 yr RIP. He lived hard but he sure knew how to hit a baseball. Its a shame that a player who was decent even off of steroids will always be remembered for fessing up to using steroids in '96.

However, when I posted there, it was breaking news and I knew more people would see it on the Palehose board. In fact, I expected it to be moved at some point.
