IMO, this is the kind of spunk the Astros can work with to make it to the big show and win it all. They can overacheive and play their asses off 110% better. I'll tell ya what though, Caminiti will be missed. :( :pray.

I forget who it was, maybe Lasorda, who said that Caminiti had the strongest arm from third that he'd ever seen. Totally true too, he had a cannon. That's what I'll remember about the guy.

You never want to see someone die but I hope that gives the Astros a little more fight in them.

It's nice to see them pay tribute to the guy.

Too bad the only way they could beat the cardinals is if Roger Clemens pitched 3 more of the games...

Roy Oswalt pwned the Cards this year...2-0, 2.25 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, .253 BAA against in 20 innings, 3 starts.

 

This series is not over by a long shot...not with Houston at home for 2 more games. The Astros could very well have a 3-2 lead in the series by the time it heads back to St. Louis.
