aboz56
Ah gees Alex, I was hoping that Foulke trade was going to be one of your KEY questions to KW at Soxfest. My first question will be, why is Willie Harris even invited to Soxfest?
chisox05
Hopefully Foulke blows about 3 games in the series and shows what type of pitcher he really is. Can't stand the guy anymore aftter the rips he took at the organization after he left or for the constant choking in big games he had while with the Sox. Here's to an Albert Pujols bomb off of you, Keith.... Go CARDS! Ya, so many people in whitesox nation forget how big of an ass this guy was. WE were forced to bench him because he lost his confidence! HE lost his f***ing confidence! How the hell does a guy who we needed to get to the playoffs lose his f***ing confidence! He was probably the most inconsistant player on our team as well. And honestly, who would think that a guy with 2 pitches and only a 90 mph fastball would succeed for many years. I really do hope foulke gets bombed BADLY!!!! But he will then of course blame it on his stress from pitching so many pitches in the alcs. Now, was it good to trade him and valentine for koch and cotts, i didnt have a problem with it. I mean i thought koch was very overrated but to do what he did the past 2 years with us i would never believe.

I only remember one game that he got rocked and that was the game against the yankee$ that he gave up five earned runs. He lost his job right after that and never got it back. Which he should have because he earned it down the strecth.
YASNY
The thing that people seem to forget is that Keith Foulke would still be with Boston if that trade had never been made.

Foulke was treated unfairly here, whether any of you want to admit it. He was told that after his blowup against the Yankees that he would be given a shot to have his job back...and he was never given that shot. He had an ERA of 0.74 in the second half of the year, so you'd think that the Sox would want to given the guy another shot at closing. Whoops. He had a reason to b****. I think anyone on here would if they were in the same position as Foulke was.
greg775
Great post whitesoxfan and old socks. You can't blame a guy for criticizing a horses*** organization run by Reinsdork. We need to get a clue or we're never gonna win anything.

That could be BUT...I still think we win the division if we have Foulke closing instead of Koch. Not having a good closer hurt this team a lot. Hey, if you didn't like him when he was with the Sox, you didn't like him. It's ok to root against him, he's not with the Sox anymore. I personally did like him though, so I'm rooting for him. CubKilla
Cmon foulke, BLOW THE GAME! Do it for me! Yeah..... Foulke always blows those big games :rolly If someone didn't replace WoManny with CLee in the 8th inning, Foulke would have been practically untouchable. Meanwhile, Billy Koch is making firewood out of his "cursed columns." :rolly Billy Koch for Keith Foulke might go down as one of the worst Sox trades ever. But at least it saved JR money! Best closer the Sox had since, arguably, Thigpen.

Spiff
Foulke hates the White Sox so much. I saw a story about him about a week ago, talking about his career. On the White Sox: "Yeah they moved me to the bullpen, I was a closer for a while." On Oakland: "It was nice to be on a team that actually wanted me." I imagine if I got treated like he did, I'd feel that way too. That move was not a financial move...I thought it was obvious KW f***ing hated Foulke and wanted to get his ass out of there ASAP.
