Interesting fact

The Red Sox became just the 4th different team to represent the AL in the World Series in the past 10 years(Indians twice, Yankees 6 times, Angels once, and the Sawks once). The NL has had 7 different teams represent them in each of the last 7 years(Cards, Marlins, Giants, DBacks, Mets, Braves, Padres in that order from 04-98).

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

First American League East team to win the World Series in this millenium.

Just be glad we're not in the AL East, although that possibility was thrown out a month or 2 ago. ;)

How long do you think it'll be before the first AL Central team wins a World Series in this millenium? ;) :crying
