Funny thing is that, according to this dude that was on GMA the other morning, deposits will still take just as long as they did to hit your account. I don't understand that, but that's what he said. The only other thing I write checks for are car payments, because I don't want to carry that much cash, and I can't use my debit at the banks.
October 28, 200421 yr Author on-line bill pay. It's the best. No more stamps for me. I do everything I can on-line. The only things I don't are my cars and Dell. I know it is hard to believe, but the worlds biggest computer company doesn't have on line bill pay. How stupid is that?

October 28, 200421 yr does your bank offer on-line bill pay? Even if a company doesn't accept it, the bank then cuts a check for you and sends it. I've paid my friends thru on-line bill pay.

October 28, 200421 yr Dam, most of the time I use my checking account is when I use my Debit Cards, I hardly ever write checks.
October 28, 200421 yr Adjust what? Is your car payment not the same every month...? I do a minimum of a payment and a half for mine (that's why I still use a check). I also use a check for my student loans because it varies how much extra I pay.
