Not feeling Pain

Featured Replies

Apparently there is a disease that makes people unable to feel pain, I've never heard about this before.

I read about that today. Kind of makes you think twice about wishing for something like that (not having to feel pain)....

one good thing about music

when it hits, you feel no pain

/that applies somehow, right?

I remember hearing about this like 10 years ago when my parents were watching 20/20. Some girl was playing on her swingset when she fell off the top and like broke her leg in half. Her mom was like OMG WTF ARE YOU OK?!?!?! and the kid didn't even know her leg was hurt.

I've heard about this before. It can be very dangerous though. At our ages, we know not to do stuff that could harm us. But younger children could play in boiling water, etc.

The funny thing about pain is... its reminds me I'm still alive.

not to mention that if your kid is not crying from pain, how else do you know there is something wrong with them?

"I’d give anything for her to feel pain.” If you just saw that quote you'd think that mom was a horrible mother
