4th outfielder perhaps? But we still have Timo around for that job. I don't think Sanchez is leadoff starting outfield quality though. There's a reason he's gone from both Milwaulkee and now by the looks of it Detroit.

I disagree, the guy batted .322 last year, the problem is his obp was .335. I'm not sure if he finished with the most bunts hit this year but he was leading that category for most of the year, he's one of the best bunters I've ever seen. If someone could teach this guy to be a little more patient he'd be one hell of a leadoff hitter, imo.

I know before his injury he was going for the all time record of bunt hits for one season. I am pretty sure he was on pace to shatter it.

If Sanchez is let loose, he'd be a hell of a pickup. He can swipe a base and can flat out fly. If he ever learns how to take a pitch, he'll be one of the better leadoff hitters in the game.
