You can adjust the game play aspects of the game to make it more or less realistic. For instance, you can make the players run faster or slower, or penalties get called more or less often etc...

gotcha........ never heard that term..... those adjustments are in the settings. What specifically are you looking for?

I need an opinion on NBA Live 2005... should I buy it or no?

I bought it. My first basketball video game purchase in a few years, and I haven't had much of a chance to play it yet but I like what I've seen. It has a new slam dunk contest and the 3 point shootout if you're interested in those modes. And the franchise mode now goes 25 seasons. As for the gameplay, I think that it's more realistic than previous games cause I have problems making shots even when I'm wide open, but maybe I just suck too. Plus, it's only $30 which was the deciding factor for me.

Both draft formats in NBA 2k5 and Live 05 suck majorly. I was very very dissapointed with that feature. I'm big on being the GM, even over gameplay, gameplay is nice and the dunk contest is tough but fun once you get it. I just can't get over the crappy draft feature which really ruined the Dynasty mode for me completely.

I was trying to find it for my friend, and then I said f*** it and just told him what mine are still set to

 

because the settings I have my game on now are from the sliders that Soxnbears posted back in june..

yeah, now that i think about it i probably did....i tried anything to like that game.

I think it is a great game. Passing is difficult, but it gets easier once you get the hang of it.

Yeah I hated the game at first because the passing was hard but I got used to it and now I can pass pretty good so the games awesome.

Sorry about going back to the Bball topic, but if your looking for the Bball game to get, go ESPN, its much better, and 10 bucks cheaper. Great, realistic game.

pardon my ignorance here, but I have rarely messed with any of the default settings......

 

 

Are these settings supposed to make the game more realistic? Are they basically pumping up the computer to make it more competitive?

 

Also, I have been having a problem lately getting a message anytime I try to save changes to my settings saying that I have reached my maximum settings limit, yet I still have 444kb available on my memory card. Any thoughts or ideas?
