There are very good odds that they will sign Tony Brackens and they really appear to want to trade down.

 

Burris isn't likely going to be on the roster, but the Bears will be keeping Saueter and potentially Chandler.

Angelo said that the Bears would not retain Chandler after July 1st.

Bears should trade down, and get Simms and Kennedy in a three way deal with NYJ and NOS.

It sounds like there might not even be much of a market to trade down in now. The Texans and the Bengals are talking about trading down now. That makes it hard on the Bears to deal down.

I wouldn't back off suggs too much. The combines aren't everything. Go watch some game film. I saw him play like 3 games and was very impressed. It's not always the #s that count, you have to like what you see in game situations. I'd still take him there.

Draft is really going to be a crapshoot this year.
