Yes, i am back from the dead and might have to start posting again.... Kenny is quickly making this team to what Ozzie has said he wanted it to be. We all b****ed and moaned about "Ozzieball" last year, but it was a team that lacked what was needed for it to be run. What we have to look at is the possibility of what this speed and defensive team can do. Lord knows we all loved watching C Lee grow up, but we all have also watched a team based around a power offense for the last 14 years and seen it bring us the division twice. Kenny brought in a different kind of coach last year, in all professional sports when a new coach is brought in the team usually changes. If this salary dump brings us a pretty good starting pitcher, I think we will watch ozzieball in full swing this upcoming season.

 

My only hope is that Paulie and Judy stay on this club, we would lose a young starter,and our best hitter.....

I'm with you on that one. I more concerned about Contreras in the rotation than I am Garland.

I'm not too thrilled with Jose Contreras as the number #3. Hopefully KW gets a guy who can fit into the 3 spot and move Contreras and Judy down.

I think all this small ball talk is JR's desire to cut the fireworks budget
