Opening Day Lineup

Featured Replies

I agree with you but i just can't see valdez in the opening day line-up.

I know. I'm not even sure he'll make the team. Dransfeldt? Somebody other than Willie has to be able to play 2b. Can you and I agree we've found a need here?

We need one of hairston, belliard, or polanco desperately.

Yep, I think it kind of got lost in all the talk about a SP, another real need, how bad this team also needs a middle infielder. How would you like Mark Grudzielanek?

I love that '83 team.

1. Pod LF

2. Rowand CF

3. Dye RF

4. Konerko 1B

5. Everett DH

6. Pierzynski C

7. Uribe SS

8. Crede 3B

9. Harris 2B

When Frank comes back:

1. Pod LF

2. Rowand CF

3. Thomas DH

4. Konerko 1B

5. Dye RF

6. Pierzynski C

7. Uribe SS

8. Crede 3B

9. Harris 2B

I think is is important to get a left handed hitter, like Pierzynski to break up the righties in the lineup.

I loved the Law brothers...they  were awesome.  but didn't I bat last that year?  Or at least 8th.

Actually, you came off the bench.

The lineup went like this:

Rudy Law cf

Julio Cruz 2b

Harold Baines rf

Greg Luzinski dh

Ron Kittle lf

Carlton Fisk c

Greg Walker 1b

Vance Law 3b

Scott Fletcher ss
