too many people! we dont have a backup middle infieler, but we have possibly 7 outfielders, and only two of them have a possibility of being sent to minors. if ozzie wants to keep borchard/escobar, our roster is screwed, especially since he's considering keeping 12-14 pitchers

Borchard won't be on the team, neither will Escobar.

And Jurassic will DH, at least until Franky comes back.

Exactly why there was no reason to waste the million on Timo. Backup outfielders are incredibly easy to sign for the minimum also if need be. It would have been much wiser to spend the million on a 2nd baseman like Cairo or Grudz (Polanco and Cabrera will cost too much).

He's done playing right, I can tell you that much.

The offseason is young.

There will be other moves made still.

There was no reason to go after Timo. It was a foolish move then and a foolish one now and it tells you the Sox don't have many moves ahead of them. If they did they would of stalled a little longer on this.

On the bright side, don't we find out the non-tenders tomorrow or is that on the 20th?

YA, lets stay optimistic!!!!! :headbang
