December 18, 200421 yr I was thinking about it, and I was wondering who you all thought has the best chance to make the team out of Spring Training as a non-roster invitee, right now. If we didn't have so many outfielders, I would say Alex Escobar, since he has so much natural talent and has already spent a couple years in AAA. At this point I'd rather the Sox take a chance on him than Borchard. However, I don't see that happening, so I'm going to say B-Mac if the Sox don't sign a fifth starter.

December 18, 200421 yr i hope we don't have to go to bmac so soon, prolly not ready. grilli could get the job done but still a real starter is needed just cause it'd be more intimidating.

Exactly the same two who came to mind for me, B-Mac more than Escobar since the OF seems to be set.
December 18, 200421 yr I gotta promote my AAP guy. It would certainly be unexpected. A near 8 ERA in Rookie ball to the bigs...
December 18, 200421 yr knowing nick's control, he'd board a plane for Chicago and end up in Green Bay.
