January 4, 200521 yr One handed pitcher Jim Abbott, during his final season with the Brewers, got 2 singles. My question is what pitchers gave up the hits? A friend and I are having a raging argument about this so any assistance would be much appreciated.
January 4, 200521 yr Depending on how much digging you are willing to do... both hits came in 1999 with Milwaukee, and his first one came June 15th. Here are all of the Brewers box scores for '99 http://www.baseball-almanac.com/teamstats/...hp?y=1999&t=ML4 And I know how much you like research Apu

January 5, 200521 yr Abbot was and still is awesome in my mind. Amazing story and a very good pitcher during his MLB career. I loved it when he was with the Sox too

January 5, 200521 yr Okay, I've changed my mind! If Jon Lieber gave up TWO hits to a one-handed PITCHER, the Phillies can HAVE him!!!!!
