I was just looking at the FUNdamentals picture on the site and I noticed that they are taking down the ad boards behind it...Any thoughts on how that'll affect the wind patterns? It is facing East after all. and since they took the upper tank down a few notches, is this going to create a wind tunnel down the left field line?

I am always amazed that they get construction done in time for the season. It really stunned me that they could get that upper deck done so fast.

And the best thing is, its not like an expressway which is usually lengthy and crappily done, they do a nice job.

Except I am a little upset that the scout seating will eliminate me getting autographs before the game near the dugout...

Unless any of you know a better place...in which case I'd like and would advise you to tell me.

Am I alone in that I hate those side displays? Feels to much like the UC.

Thanks for the link Mike.

I know we talked about the scout seating over the weekend and while it's a good idea, I surely hope they sell all the tickets because otherwise there's gonna be a lot of dead space behind the plate on TV. I think we both agreed that rather than having that they'll probably have to cut the prices on those seats rather than get nothing out of them.

Anyone have an idea of how the sales for scout seating are going?

I heard tickets were going to be something close to 100$ per seat -- could be wrong, but I might have even heard $200 -- one of those two numbers. Sorry, I know that's a broad price range, but I either heard one hundred or two hundred...

I think you get full food service with waiters/waitresses, much like club level.

The scout seats will be at least close to sold out, IMHO. Corporations will buy them. Remember, the price includes all the concessions, plus access to the new lounge.

From the article linked above in this thread:

Scout seating tickets are being offered in season packages, first to existing White Sox season ticket customers. Prices are $200 for seats in the first row of the special section and $170 for all other seats.
