February 2, 200521 yr Hermanson’s earned run average was 4.53? In the National league? I'm excited about the team this year, but it has very little to do with this guy. Hopefully Ozzie uses him in blowouts. By the way, ESPN says that Koch finished the year with a 4.41 ERA and numbers almost identical to Polittes'. (Can that be true!? He must have been decent for FLA.)

Hermanson was very solid in the bullpen unil the last day of the yea when he asploded. Also, koch still sucks. 1.60 Whip. Wtf, that is just disgusting.

Wtf, that is just disgusting. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not only that, he got f***ing bailed out by Armando Benitez. I remember McKeon pulling him out of a game in the middle of a count. Armando came in and cleaned up Billy Boy's mess without allowing any runs to score.

Hermanson's era was around 4.30 before getting rocked in his last outing against the Dodgers. He had been pitching very well as a reliever the last two months of the season, until that last outing. Also, I wouldn't worry about the nl/al era difference for a reliever, as most only pitch an inning anyway.
