The Scrubs traded Farnsworth to the Tigers for 3 young players....

Wow. What the hell is Hendry doing this off-season? His bullpen is already in shambles. He must have wanted Farns out in a major way.

Tigers continue to be aggressive...

Farnsworth is loaded with talent but may not have the capacity to handle the role of a closer.

Levine is saying the Scrubs are going to use the 2 million they saved in this deal and those players and get Dotel from Oakland.....

What's Hendry doing, hell what are the Tigers doing??? So they have a closer whose mom has been kidnapped, and should play-but who knows, a $12 closer with a bad arm, and a headcase for a bullpen. Then they have a injury prone catcher and a RFer with a cronic knee problem signed to huge contracts...

Like I said before Tom Hicks>Mike Illitch

That's it. Urbina not included in the deal. They're not even talking about who or what the Cubs are getting in return.

Don't be shocked if the Cubs end up with Dotel before pitchers and catchers report.

The Tigers are really making some moves here at the end of the off-season. Less the Royals, Central could be a tight race this year.

I thought the cubs were trying to improve their closer situation. Dotel has proven he can't get it done when thrust into that role.

Um, Sports Bar:huh

Its there already. This has nothing to do with the Pale Hose.

That was kind of my point, Addy.

...and I was agreeing with ya! :D

Cubs get three minor leaguers...

Scott Moore, INF

Roberto Novoa, RHP

and another name that I missed.

Call me crazy but an ALCentral rival acquisition seems to have something to do with the Pale Hose.

This makes more sense. I know he has been targeting this guy for awhile now.

But, he's sorely mistaken if he thinks he's aquiring a closer.

A closer, Dotel is not.

so....basically the Tigers are looking to add an overrated relief pitcher with a terrible clubhouse attitude, sounds ok to me

Sorry, Pale Hose Talk IMO, is only for stuff about the White Sox.

Here Here. :drink

Crazy perhaps, but correct. :) Moves in Central bear directly on the Sox and are of interest to Pale Hose perusers, IMO.
