February 10, 200521 yr QUOTE(knightni @ Feb 10, 2005 -> 03:48 PM) Steroids don't help pitchers pitch better. Steroids bulk you up, and reduce flexibility. they help recovery time, so a pitcher could use them in the off-season to increase the intensity of their workouts, then cycle off and maintain some of the mass. Also, there's different types of steriods... Winstrall will help cut your look up, but also increase recovery time, which is what a relief pitcher may want

February 10, 200521 yr People here seem pretty excited to have Farnsworth. One of my friends said he makes their bullpen alot better...I was like haha keep him. Makes him think Urbina is going to be gone. He is bias, but has a good mind on baseball moves, just way too bias (as I am towards the Sox here!). They feel they didn't give too much up, and I constantly get told the Sox will finish behind the Tigers. On Kyle...I could see a change of scenery helping him, and I really like Alan Trammel (sp?) as a manager. I think he will be good for Farnsworth, aswell as having an actual closer in Percival and maybe Urbina helping him. Plus IRod will help him a ton. Farnsworth has had no real closer in years ahead of him. I think he will improve, but maybe not emotionally and mentally. There is hope in D-Town this year...so let's crush them!

Yeah, it will help you get more muscle mass and recover quicker, but it doesnt do JACK s*** for your tendons and ligaments.. which would easily lead to a bum shoulder or elbow simply from the fact you were taking steroids.. Your muscles would develope, but tendons and ligaments would not, causing greater stress on them.. not too smart.. Winstrol would be a better option, like you said it will help you get cut, and its not going to make you some hulking mass of insanity..
February 10, 200521 yr I'm hearing stories from Cub fans about how Farns. is a mess. Boozing way too much, arrives late, lazy, cancer in the clubhouse, wasn't there for the last game like Sammy, etc. Anyone no more about this?
