Sox blogs

Featured Replies

Here is a list of Sox blogs I've been able to find. During the season, most are updated daily.

Please let me know if I've missed any good ones.

And feel free to give a shout out to your favs. I'll start...

The Cheat's Blog and Exile in Wrigleyville are two that I read everyday... I also read ChiSox daily during the season.

Anyone else?

I will be posting game recaps throughout the season. They will be filled with naughty words. You've been warned.

My blog is in my signature as well. I don't know whether I'll be more active during the baseball season, generally most of my thoughts go around in these forums, but I might also try to do some recaps etc.

That's it? That's all the discussion we could get going on this topic?

Alright, let me expand it a bit.

How many of you plan on getting at least part of your Sox news during the season from a blog? How do the best Sox blogs compare to other readable media, like newspapers?

What's a Blog and how do I grt rid of it? :crying

I might make a strictly Sox blog during the season.

It would be filled with inane rants, however.

Blogs are pretty cool. I have read yours (you've had some good minor league stuff on it) as well as cheats. I haven't been to cheat's lately but I think his, like mine (SoxNet) has been pretty empty for a while since there really hasn't been much to talk about (and in my case I'm lazy).

Also read blackbetsy's. I think they are pretty cool, especially the ones that have the statistical details that my non-statistic self can actually understand, haha.

I'm looking forward to more of SoxNet this year.

The Cheat and Exile in Wrigleyville do the stats thing better than I ever could. So my angle is a few quick hitters (that's a Coppickism) on the Sox, a minor league round - up and and some bits on South Side culture.

I do not like the word blog for some reason. Perhaps I need help, but that word seriously ticks me off...it's merely the latest old buzzword that's finally catching on with the pop-culture media. :bang :bang :bang :bang :stick :stick :stick :stick
