nope, no extra innings...

we just scored 2 in the top of the ninth against the rockies

however, arizona scored 2 in the top of the 8th... so we only have 3 outs to get 3 runs

I think the managers actually decide if & how many extra innings are to be played if they're tied after nine. An ST game I went to went 10, Eric Chavez hit a walk off home run against us.

The Rockies game is final..The Sox have their first ST win. It appears the DBacks game is still going on.

Sox beat the Rox; 7-5

W: Eduardo Villacis (1-0) L: Tim Drew (0-1) S: Josh Stewart (1)

And That's a White Sox Winner!!!

First of the season. I thought it take forever.

Sox fall to the DBacks 10-9.

WP - PHIL STOCKMAN (1-0)

LP - RYAN MEAUX (0-1)

SAVE - LANCE CORMIER (1)

And that's a White Sox loser!!!

We're still 0-2 however.... Split Squad games don't count in the standings.

Coincidence? Willie Harris injures another player's knee. Former White Sox Aaron Miles.

Pods had another 2-hit game, including a lead-off triple.

Iguchi gets his first hits of the spring!

single and a double

thats awesome..Pod's 7/8 this spring. im really excited about him. i know its only spring but still, he seems to have a great mindset on what he wants to do. i think if he carries this into the season and has a good year, sox fans will feel better about this deal. when was the last time we had a true leadoff man, someone who could steal 50+ bases? :gosox1:

Everett had himself a smash that almost cleared the CF wall in the middle innings. That was good for 2 runs.

Coincidence to what? Magglio? If so, then yes, it's purely coincidence. Not sure what you are getting at here.

Just a joke.

If split squad games don't count in the standings, do their stats count in YNOT

If I remember correctly, split squad games count and "B" games do not.

Split quad games DO count in the standings.

I thought so. Thank you.
