I've had a pretty high fever since Friday night (102)--I've been taking acetomphine (about 1000mg per dose), which is supposed to be a fever reducer, but it hasn't been able to touch it. I've found Ibuprophen to work better plus you can probably double dose without any problems. I don't know your weight, but even a lightweight can take double the dosage for short times without any adverse effects. The worse that may happen is an upset stomache. More likely with the Acetometaphine. I assume you are drinking enough cool, clear fluids. Not much else to do unless you go up another couple degrees. I hope there is someone who can check up on you. If not locally have someone call you or set a time to call them. You may also which to check your temperature using an alternate location or method. Double checking to be certain.
