2005 NFL Draft

1. San Francisco - Aaron Rodgers - QB

2. Miami -

Im starting to get a strange feeling Phins will go QB, and look for RB in 2nd round or trade.

SB

its gonna be ronnie brown.Phins dont really need a rgeta qb i mean they did make the playoffs with fiedler with Williams but with no williams they suck

Gus is going to be the starter down there, Scott Linehan loves him. Much to Drew Rosenhaus's despair, the Dolphins will select Ronnie Brown.

i wouldnt book Rodgers to San Fran yet after Alex Smith's recent workout which was supposedly amazing.

If the Dolphins get Edge, then that changes EVERYTHING!

Yeah after today, I think if they go QB it'll be Smith.

Miami is just under the cap as it is, how are they going to fit an Edgerrin James with a long - term deal in there?

This isn't necessarily what will really happen, it's what Soxtalk members vote will happen.

Rodgers got the most votes, so, he was the 49ers pick.

You mean the "Alex Smith - Standing Ovation" article?

It was in the first poll, people still voted Rodgers.

But the Dolphins can draft a QB in the first, and get a RB in the 2nd.

Damn didnt realize Dolphins dont have 2nd round pick.

My guess is they trade down.

Don't forget Rodgers still has a workout left I believe to impress the scouts and from past workouts, he can make all the throws. I wouldn't be suprised to see him earn a great mark in the workout also.

ronnie brown for sure, he's the best all-around RB. They might go Benson but his stock is falling a little.

I've been hearing that they're probably going to trade down. I want Rodgers or Smith, and obviolsey one will be available with the 2nd pick. I dont know why most Dolfans think that Feeley is so good he's has proved nothing. They blame it on the O-Line. But next the O Line's gonna be better, so next year when he sucks, and they finish 7-9 they're gonna have the 13th pick. I'm just saying that this franchise has had this low a pick in 20+ years, mine as well take a rookie QB while they have the chance. Even though there's risk in taking both of them.
