April 1, 200521 yr Because we already have five guys and there's no place for him. PS: do you want to know about my gpa.
April 1, 200521 yr QUOTE(Spod=Ratings @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 11:03 PM) also this should go under pale hose talk I don't really think it matters where it is.
April 1, 200521 yr QUOTE(MONT @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 02:58 PM) Why isn't Brandon in the starting rotation? Zack Grienke, Jeremy Bonderman.
April 1, 200521 yr It would benefit him to get a few more starts under his belt at the lower levels and besides we already have a pretty solid starting 5. When you consider what we are paying them and unless there are injuries or Contreras goes to complete s*** we won't be seeing Brandon right away.

I believe he'll be in the rotation by the trade deadline, July 31.
April 1, 200521 yr QUOTE(MONT @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 04:58 AM) Why isn't Brandon in the starting rotation? welcome to Soxtalk Because the Sox have five proven starters ahead of him. If they traded one, and he moved into a spot, the sox wouldn't have a reliable starter as backup. If a starter struggles badly, BMac will come up. But that won't happen until at least May or later, to give the veteran some time to work out his problems. Yet with BMac waiting to start, Ozzie and co. won't let a SP struggle too long before making a move for Brandon
