Would you guys call me crazy if I wanted Pablo Ozuna to pinch hit here? We need this run here.

If that ball took a different bounce down the line, Pods could have scored on it.

Pods.

Speed.

That inning was a demonstration about why our team is better offensively than last year: balance.

We scored on a HR.

We put a few across on some good contact hitting.

We scored by taking advantage of throwing errors.

I can't remember an inning where we did it all like that last year.

PS- I like the new #22 better than the old one.

Excellent. Come on Jon, one more strong inning, then we can pass it off to Politte/Marte/Cotts.

Heh.

106MPH.

Holy cow, that 3-1 pitch to Bartlett was right down the plate....as was the first pitch to Mauer. This ump is beyond awful with his small zone.

Awesome night so far, it just seems unreal that our White Sox can actually take it to the Twins, especially early in the season! :headbang :headbang :headbang :headbang Go Sox!

Edit:ATTABOY PK!!!!

Ya know, thinking about the past few years and this year, I have to admit...and I'm not just saying this because we are winning...but the feeling of the Twins has changed to me. The past few years I've feared the Twins, especially in the Twinkie Dome...but this season, I'm not feeling that...AT ALL.

I *really* like this team -- they can hit it long, and when they cannot hit it long, they can do the little things, like taking 2 bases (pods) on a error, steal some bases, put pressure on opposing defenses, etc.

Am I alone in saying something just feels different about the Twins this year, as if their 'mystique' isn't quite the same?!

Ozzie, that's why you don't send Marte out for a second inning... I don't know what's so hard to understand, Marte and Politte are one inning pitchers. It's setting them up to fail...

Well, good thing we got Lecroy out last inning. Marte still seems to not have a lot of zip on his fastball though.
