April 11, 200520 yr This trade in in the process in League #8. Should it be vetoed? If so, tell me why... Mark Texeira for Lyle Overbay 2004 Overbay---1st full year----83 R, 16HR, 87RBI, .301AVG Texeira---101R, 38HR, 112 RBI, .281AVG In 2003 Texeira--1st full year ---66R, 26HR, 84RBI, .259AVG
April 11, 200520 yr Nope, lyle well do much better this year with the new milwauke offense, his average is better. Texeira however may still be better, but its 2 close to veto IMO.
April 12, 200520 yr Texeira >> Overbay He had better stats in '04 and has a better lineup around him than Overbay.
April 12, 200520 yr That's a major difference, Texiera is a second or third rounder, Overbay is much later. On a side note, check out this laugher. It's certainly going to get vetoed, this came right after Pujols for Damon was vetoed: Pujols, Podsednik, and Delgado for Orlando Hernandez, Scott Kazmir, and Esteban Loaiza I'm not sure if the better smiley is :headshake or

April 13, 200520 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 07:16 PM) I need that guy in my league! I think everyone needs that guy in their league, unfortunately you're also going to need several people that are just as clueless to get the trade passed. Sometimes I wonder why these people even bother running teams. What's worse is he flat out dropped Orlando Cabrera, Mark Mulder, and Eric Chavez (works for me I guess, I got Chavez).
