Browser Test

Click on the Acid2 test link and "take the Acid2 test". This tests to see if your web browser is correctly implementing some of the newer web standards. I'm using IE right now so I failed of course. Supposedly the Mozilla based browsers also don't render the page correctly. It's supposed to look like the smiley face you see when you click the "Reference rendering" link.

Mine is just a bunch of colors at the bottom with the word "Error" in the middle. Does this actually work for anyone and if so, what browser are you using?

Yeah I'm on Firefox and I sorta got the face but it was pretty messed up.

My image is pretty f***ed up. I use IE

same.

My computer just burst into flames.

Seriously, neither Firefox or Safari pass on mac OSX. Both give me pretty screwewd up versions of the reference smiley.

i think this computer i am on at work would explode if i tried the test

Is my monitor suppose to be smoking after that test?? All it said was error...so I'd guess mine isn't up to snuff...

Firefox = f***ed up face

I get "Hello World" and messed up face. I can also scroll but there is no scrolling bar on the screen.

My computer loses at life.

My computer must be suicidal. All I saw was Goodbye world....

No offense Kong, this isn't directed at you. However, am I supposed to give a s*** what a bunch of nerds say my browser should be able to do? It loads the pages with no problem. That's good enough for me.

That's fine, just never update your browser again. Security updates especially just slow down page loading and they're not really important.
