Almost an afterthought, sadly

Personally, I feel by moving on from these events and not glorifying the acts of terrorism, we are actually doing our country a service. To that end, I also endorse not making Sept. 11 a holliday. By glorifying these events, we are asking for "September 11th Sales, All day at Marshall Field's" and such. That said, the lives of those lost that day and on Sept. 11 should be remembered, it's quite the predicament.

For anyone that's been to the memorial, it's a pretty moving place.

I hope people remember this...

I hope people like Ann Coulter, remember that terrorists are not all Muslim.

I fear we lost sight of the dangers that already lurk within our own country by our own citizens.

There are still horrible groups out there. They are full of red-blooded, White Americans ready to murder men, women and children for their "causes".

The same groups that may have helped Timothy McVeigh ten years ago.

All in the name of God.

My aunt was traveling for work when she saw it. She choked up the first time she talked about it with me.

The key is to let the raw memory and anger absorb but not consume.

I only hope we can do the same with 9/11.
