WilliamTell
Finished tied for last with a loss and a Golden State win last night. Not a good situation down there. Edited April 21, 2005 by WilliamTell
southsider2k5
That is so awesome. Kobe got exactly what he deserved. You don't force the trade of one of the best players in the game, no matter how big your ego is.

greasywheels121
http://www.sportsline.com/nba/story/8403790 Executive of the year: Kobe Bryant, Miami Heat. In engineering the departure of the Diesel, Bryant not only shipped out the most dominant player in the league, he also lit a fire under him, inspiring him to get back into the best shape of his career. See, Chucky Atkins wasn't kidding when he called Kobe a GM. OK, seriously, we'll go with Phoenix's Bryan Colangelo over Miami's Pat Riley. Either is more than worthy. Incidentally, remember when we told you we suspected Sacramento's Geoff Petrie was too smart to let Chris Webber go for seemingly so little unless the Kings knew his knee might not make it? Listen to us next time.

Jordan4life_2007
They might not make the playoffs next year either. They have zero cap space and little to no real trade bait. Odom just had shoulder surgery, add that to his 11 million dollar a year contract and he'll be very hard to deal. Caron Butler is an inconsistent, no defense playing, dime a doezen sf. Can't get much for him either. Cook, Walton, George, Sasha, and the rest of the no talent bums they've collected over the years have ZERO value.
