April 26, 200520 yr What a masterpiece. I'm so glad Oz left him in the ninth. No reason to not let him go all the way. Man was Garland in control. Nice, fluid pitching motion. As dominant as a guy can be in only striking out three or so. Glad Kenny and Oz and Coop didn't give up on him. He looks like he's turned his career up a notch. And he gets us off to a good start in a place we never win the opening game of a series. Way to go, Jon.

April 26, 200520 yr I think putting him at #5 was best thing for him. He seems to have less pressure on himself.
April 26, 200520 yr ^^I agree. Also it seems like he isn't throwing as hard as he can, but rather concentrating more on the location of his pitches which I heard is better for a sinkerball pitcher.
