we had the lead in 26 straight games to start the season. Major league record.

The only one I care about is the W/L record.

We're doing pretty well in that respect, too.

Your handle rocks :headbang :headbang

It's kinda crazy, if they lose I want us to have the lead at some point. And I'm actually happier that way even though they would've blown the lead.

I know only W's count but this record is pretty friggin amazing. The fact that we are the ONLY team in the HISTORY of MLB to have a lead in 26 straight games is one to definitely look back on!

In order to accomplish this feat:

1. Cannot get shutout

2. Must have solid starting pitching

3. Must get on the board early the majority of the time

And that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Congrats 2005 CWS!! :gosox3:

Not exactly. We're the first team to have a lead in the FIRST 26 games of the season. Some team could have had a longer streak at some point. They could have just done it in the middle of the season.

YEah, this is pretty impressive, no matter what time of the season it happens. Its especially impressive when you look at our offensive struggles and then realize we've never been shut out. You'd think it would be the other way around. Keep it up Sox...you can win 1-0 all year for all I care. Just win! :gosox1: :cheers
