Okay, what's up with this guy? Was he poppin' roids? Because I drafted him really high (like a dumbass, apparently) expecting some decent HR and RBI numbers.

Clint Barmes is the s***. For real.

No roids. He's been hurt because he plays so hard

Mark Prior's a punk b****.

I know he's had a bunch of nagging injuries, but this guy is supposed to be a Top 3 second baseman in the majors. I hope he turns it around.

I traded Barmes for Ben Sheets. Someone should remind Marcus he's playing in Atlanta not San Diego like his brother.

Tell me about it.

Giles went "bats***" at an ump last night.

You gotta see it if you haven't yet.

I have Loretta(.300, 0HR, 13RBI, 24Runs, 6SB), Barmes(.371, 7HR, 26RBI, 32Runs 3SB) and C. Guillien(.375, 2HR, 11RBI, 23Runs 1SB). I love Clint Barmes but I'm not sold on him yet. Loretta isn't doing me any good on the bench. I'm thinking about trading Loretta what do you guys think?

Furcal's even worse then M.Giles

I have him too and have been looking to trade him. I have Todd Walker and Grudz in case I trade him.

What is your utility situation looking like? Because you can get Barmes in at 2B, Guillen at SS, and Loretta in at UT. You should dominate in batting average and runs.

I have Lyle Overbay(.314, 7HR, 26RBI 16Runs 0SB) at UTL right now. He's been pretty solid.

I have Travis Hafner(.270, 5HR, 18RBI, 19Runs 0SB) at IB. He's been pretty disapointing.

I drafted Marcus Giles high too, and I had him last year. This year he's sucked so bad I've benched him the past two or three games. Tonight he was 3/4 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored, but still no NR and he isn't stealing bases like he can. I hope he can turn it around.

And he hit a solo shot just now against the Phillies. All of a sudden, he has 20 extra-base hits through 50 games, putting him on pace for damn near 70. Of course, he always has nagging injuries, so he probably won't get to 70 like he did in 2003.

Roids talk = unfounded, presumptuous

its not the guy has been hitting 40 every year, he'll get his 15 homers you can count on that

Well, he had 1 HR in 143 ABs, so he was on pace for 3 or 4 on the season (I'm thinking 475 to 500 ABs with the injury issues).

But now he has 2 HR in his last 23 ABs.

He had 70 extra-base hits when he was healthy in 2003. That's why I had roids on my mind.

I dont think roids has as big an effect on production drop off as people make it seem.. There are steroids you can take, that when you stop taking them and remain on a steady workout routine you keep most of what you gained.. I see a lot of people saying "steroids" to someone who isnt producing like they use to and thats not exactly the case

I hear you, but I need someone to explain why so many guys are looking a hell of a lot thinner nowadays. Is everybody on the Atkins diet?

haha not sure but there are some substances you can get a hold of that melt fat off your body

I got Isturiz. I drafted him in the 24th round LOL!!

Drafted Jack Wilson and has sucked. As Carl Pavano ;)

I drafted Mark Loretta, I have since released to be my second baseman who knew that my final round draft pick Clint Barmes would eventually become my starting second baseman.
