aboz56
Just wanted to get someone who lives in the area's take on the best way to get to the game on Sunday. I've heard parking around the Piss Hole is horrendous. Where's the best place to park and then ride the train in. Also, for anyone who may know, what is the traffic situation in the northern part of Indiana. Heard they are doing a lot of construction up that way, and if so, what's the best way to get through that part of the commute as I am driving a long way up there. JDsDirtySox
I would recommend catching the Red Line in China Town (about 1 mile North of the Cell). If you can get to the Cell, you can get to China Town. The Red Line is right there... and it drops you off right at Wrigley. The Red Line is cheap and parking is half the price of anywhere around Wrigley. Just my suggestion. PM Me if you need any more help.
whitesoxin'
Going through Indiana there is really no good way this summer. There is a lot of construction on the Skyway and even more on the Borman. (94) I assume you will be coming up 65 so you might be better off to go all the way to the end of 65 and get on the Toll Road and take the skyway. I don't know anything about Wrigley though because I've only been there twice and we took the train once and I was about 7 the other time I went. Traffic will be a nightmare. As someone else said, park along the red line on the south side and jump on the red line.
SnB
I did my first trip to wrigley today, here's what i did: took the metra train downtown (lasalle st. station) found a red line stop, hopped on that to the addison stop. Really not that hard, suprisingly. But after all that you really appreciate the 20 minute drive to teh cell.
BobDylan
QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ May 20, 2005 -> 07:49 PM) But after all that you really appreciate the 20 minute drive to teh cell. Amen. There is nothing saucy about Wrigley. I hate that f***ing place. Everything about it. Even the El ride to Comiskey is easier for some reason.
