DBAHO
After his last 2 performances before today, the things getting said about Garcia weren't too great. "He's lost 5 miles on his fastball" "He left his curveball hanging in the zone" "He should be our 5th starter now". I was really pleased for him today. He's a much better pitcher than what he showed in those games, and today proved it. 4-3 with a 3.56 ERA aren't too bad numbers at all. danman31
Pfft. That's in the past. The future is tomorrow, or more accurately, Sunday. Brandon McCarthy. Sorry, I just thought it was odd that you were posting about today's game when the buzz is about BMac. I agree, but I was never as down on Garcia as most during his recent slump. I never thought he was a great starter from the day we got him and was down on him more than most, but he's going to be a little inconsistent. Sox fans are going to have to learn to live with that. WHarris1
He was awesome today, really bounced back strong. I was never down on him either, though.

Today was the perfect game for him to throw in though. An away game during the day with the wind blowing in. Perfect conditions for him. bulokis
Great job by Freddy, good to see him step up and pitch awesome today. I saw the highlights of the game, he was definitely throwing strikes and attacking the cubbies.
GoodAsGould
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 21, 2005 -> 01:28 AM) Today was the perfect game for him to throw in though. An away game during the day with the wind blowing in. Perfect conditions for him. Maybe we should save him for days where the wind is blowing in. He threw a gem against the Tribe when the wind was blowing in too.... Day games and wind blowing in thats the key!
