and it showed dusty saying : he had talked to zambrano and zambano said he was tired etc.

 

then they interviewed zambrano and he said : Dusty never said anything to me!

I thought for sure Zambrano would go the full 9 unless he started to struggle. I guess Dusty was feeling the heat after letting him go super deep his last outing.

Thankfully, Paulie got that cheap single to break up the no-no or Zambrano would have pitched the whole game.

Dusty gets criticized for leaving his pitchers in too long and ruining their arms by everyone. That has to ring in his head almost every game. He was being cautious, especially with a guy that missed a start. I can't really blame him.

I think Dusty wanted to take him out after 6 but with the no-no let him pitch the 7th. baker was in the right here. If the guy couldn't make it through his last start due to injury then he shouldn't have gone more than 7 tonight.

I posted this in another thread. Dusty is a liar. Remember when he said he called Sosa after their war of words in the newspaper last season? Dusty never called Sosa.

I saw the same interview with Dusty and Z on CSN, that's so funny bcoz you can see Dusty definitely lied. Also from another interview last night, Dusty said the Sox got a couple of hits then ended up with 4 runs and his final words, "DAMN"
