Just because he's struggling this year and his numbers have dropped big time does not necessarily mean that he was on steroids. There are a number of other reasonable explanations for why he would be playing so badly this season. It's not always steroids.

well of course, who wouldnt wonder where his numbers went, perhaps he was using cork bats instead of steroids or he lost his enhancing contact lenses, we shall never know

A cleveland writer did accuse 3,4 indians of taking steriods this offseason. While he didn't name names, players with a huge drop off in power/ production [which Martinez certainly fits into both categories] will be suspected. Martinez's power all came last yr. He wasn't a HR hitter before
