May 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(thomsonmi @ May 27, 2005 -> 04:36 PM) Not on ESPN 1000 yet. Some asshole St Louis fan is running around the office saying that he heard a muscle in his arm "split". Is that even possible...??? I've never heard of such a thing.
May 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ May 27, 2005 -> 03:27 PM) It may be just that time to get our Cubs injury translator out. Let's look at the possble outcomes: Bruised Elbow, may miss a start = Tommy John Surgery, out a year and a half Muscle Tighness, may miss a start = Torn Rotator Cuff, Career in doubt Inflamation, will miss 2 or 3 starts = Reconstructive sugery, out for the year Broken arm, out 2-3 months = Death
May 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(thomsonmi @ May 27, 2005 -> 04:37 PM) You working on inside info again, Steff? Not quite.. I don't call in favors for Cubs news.

May 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 27, 2005 -> 04:39 PM) He's a Cardinals fan. I think that's your answer. He's usually not such a drama queen.. :rolly

I've never heard of such a thing. If it hit him square in the elbow, I'm not sure how a muscle would come into play.
May 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ May 27, 2005 -> 02:42 PM) If it hit him square in the elbow, I'm not sure how a muscle would come into play. Never mind with the swelling and no MRI having been done how the hell would anyone know this yet.
May 27, 200520 yr It's hard for me to say this, but get well soon Mark. I really do hope he's alright.

May 27, 200520 yr QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ May 27, 2005 -> 02:54 PM) I'm more of a Geico Gecco kinda guy. I love that Gecco. I am a Geico man myself.
May 27, 200520 yr I'm certainly not going to read all 8 pages, but damn this sucks for the cubs. I hate to see anyone get hurt, especially when pitchers injure their pitching arms. Best of luck to him in his recovery.
