No broken bones.. doing additional testing. For those listening to the radio.. have they said anything about a "busted/ruptured muscle"...??? :huh

The head trainer just said that he will undergo an MRI. They are going to wait and see.

Some asshole St Louis fan is running around the office saying that he heard a muscle in his arm "split". :huh

Is that even possible...??? I've never heard of such a thing.

It may be just that time to get our Cubs injury translator out.

Let's look at the possble outcomes:

Bruised Elbow, may miss a start = Tommy John Surgery, out a year and a half

Muscle Tighness, may miss a start = Torn Rotator Cuff, Career in doubt

Inflamation, will miss 2 or 3 starts = Reconstructive sugery, out for the year

Broken arm, out 2-3 months = Death

:lolhitting

He's a Cardinals fan. I think that's your answer.

If it hit him square in the elbow, I'm not sure how a muscle would come into play.

Never mind with the swelling and no MRI having been done how the hell would anyone know this yet.

It's hard for me to say this, but get well soon Mark. I really do hope he's alright.

I don't think he needs AFLAC.

I really love him in the Yogi Berra commercial.

I am a Geico man myself.

I give it to the Gecco when the Taco Bell dog is in it.

Since the injury appears to not be so serious can we go back to joking about it? :D

I'm certainly not going to read all 8 pages, but damn this sucks for the cubs. I hate to see anyone get hurt, especially when pitchers injure their pitching arms. Best of luck to him in his recovery.
