And just because Iguchi didn't turn the DP, that doesn't mean it's okay that Marte walked a run in. He needed to at least make the batter put the ball into play. Iguchi blew it and Marte choked.

I just watched Marte's pitch again at WhiteSox.com. It's called "Angels rally in 9th:" if you want to see it again. That ball was no where near the zone. It was so low that Chone Figgins would have to be an idiot to swing at it.

Dye would have swung at it and had a better chance of homering on that pitch than a first pitch fastball down the middle of the plate (since he doesn't swing at those).

He was 2 for 4 last night. I think he will get his stroke back but his K's are brutal. He strikes out way too much.
