I haven't been paying too much attention this year, but apparently the Rush are playing in the semifinal game in the AFL playoffs tomorrow vs. the Colorado Crush. If they win, they go to Arena Bowl, which would be really cool. I was a follower last year, but I've been busy a lot this year. Anyway, I remember that the QB Philyaw is a pimp. Heres to a Rush win

Arena football looks like it would be a ton of fun to play. I'm suprised it isn't more popular than it is.

I went to a game and left in the middle of the 2nd quarter.

The Rush rank with the WNBA as far as I am concerned.

Well they lost in sudden death overtime. There was a premature expulsion of confetti at the end of regulation. It was hilarious watching the workers with their tiny brooms trying to clean it all up.

Colorado should have gotten an unsportsman like conduct penalty since they realeased it to early. Glad to see i wasent the only one flipping the channel beetween the Rush and White sox.

That was a crazy ending. I watched the final minute and saw the confetti and two dumbass penaltys on Colorado at the end. Then, I forgot about it when it went to OT.

All I know is that Gespert(The kicker) would be walking back from Colorado. I was also flipping between the games and I saw him miss 2 field goals. One early and one that would have won it in OT. The OT one was unforgivable after the team got the turnover on as Colorado was trying to march in the endzone to score. The next series, Colorado won it.

 

He has been horrible all year and I would have cut his ass immediately after the game was over. Don't even let him in the locker room to shower. Give him a garden hose and some napkins.

That he did...because he missed one earlier in the game and had to make up for it.

 

Overall, he has been brutal all year long. Lots of missed FG's. I doubt he will be back next year. That is what I am basing my comment on.
