June 10, 200520 yr Is it true that carnival folk keep their food in a bucket that has the word "vomit" written on it so nobody steals it? So, what's your favorite carny ride? I like the viking boat thing that swings back and forth. good times.
June 10, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(mreye @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:02 AM) The Gravitron! Top Notch! I remember riding that a loooong time ago. I think it spun around really fast and then the floor lowered?
June 10, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:04 AM) The best part of a carnival is the food. I think they have deep fried candy bars now. Snickers, Milkey Way, with a dusting of powder sugar. Deadly.

June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) Carnies make me nervous...small hands...smell like cabage!! Not to mention, if you've ever spoken to the employees or looked closely at all the nuts and bolts holding the rides together, it's not exactly a 'tip top' operation.
June 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(marsh @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:08 AM) Elm-Fest in Elmhurst. Right by the train station. Cool. We're looking for something to do tonight.

I do love wooden rollercoasters though, and the giant drop at Great America. As long as it doesnt' go in circles or upside down I'll love it.
June 10, 200520 yr I love roller coasters, but get seriously ill even at the thought of going on the rides that go round and round and round :puke
