Most embarassing music ever owned?

Featured Replies

I was going to put CD, but that might disqualify some of our disco fanantics.... But looking back, what is the most embarassing CD, album, tape, 8 track etc, that you have ever owned?

For me I think it would have to be Vanilla Ice- To the Extreme

I would second that motion.

Europe- The Final Countdown.

LOL

Gary Glitter..

The first two pieces of music I owned were Three Dog Night's Greatest Hits (on 8-track), and the 45's of Macho Man and YMCA by the Village People. A dubious start to my record collection I'd say.

Vanilla Ice - To the extreme

or

MC Hammer - Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'em.

Take your pick, they are both equally shameful.

45 of "In My House" by the Mary Jane Girls

You suck! I love Air Supply!

Mine would be Snow - 12 Inches of Snow. :puke

I have a lot that some would consider embarassing, but I bought for nostalgic reasons:

Tiffany's - Greatest Hits

New Kids - Greatest Hits

Debbie Gibson's - Greatest Hits

ABBA - GH

You win :cheers :P

My CD collection started out much better than my tape collection

My tape collection started with Europe and also included Paula Abdul and Peter Gabriel(not ashamed of Gabriel).

My first cds were Metallica(black album and Master of Puppets), Depeche Mode, Inxs Kick, Red Hot Chili Peppers (What Hits?), U2(Zooropa), and Motley Crue (Dr Feelgood).

The Cds made me forget about the tapes ;)

I'm sure I've got more.

I want to get the Milli Vanilli CD.

Vanilla Ice would be cool too.

It's fun to play stuff like "Hangin' Tough" when we're all drinkin' and having a good time. It's a good laugh, and you'd be surprised how many people sing along and wave their arm from side to side like the New Kids. (Oh oh oh oh oh - Hangin Tough! We're ROUGH!) :lolhitting

Oh yeah, I have the first Hanson CD too.

I had that 1st Spin Doctors tape.

if you, want to call me baby, just go ahead now

if you, want to buy me flowers, just go ahead now

if you, want to talk for hours......... :puke

Shameful.

Not sure I can top Eye's Hanson revelation but, I am famous for my poor music taste:

Pocket full of Kryptonite--Spin Doctors

Greatest Hits--New Kids & Debbie Gibson

Greatest Hits--Shakira (but it's in spanish....)

Music Box & Greatest Hits--Mariah Carey

Sitting on Go--Bryan White

Blue--Leann Rimes

Greatest Hits--Buck Owens

A cd of awful 70 covers by Elton John

My Perorgative--Britney Spears

I'm sure there's more

that's the one!! "Pocket full.........LMAO.

If it helps, I bought it in junior high to impress the boy I liked. :banghead

Oh yeah? Well I went to that concert at the World Amphitheater. Whatever that band was (Soul Train, Soul Sneeze?) that sang "Runaway Train" opened up for them, and the Screamin Trees kicked the whole thing off. Big waste of time.

Hey! I still like that album, even if it ushered in the bad jam band era. Very tasty double stop guitar riffs throughout, and I thought the vocalist was quite good – like a non-threatening, ugly albino version of Chris Robinson.

Hi Barbie

Hi Ken!

Do you wanna go for a ride?

Sure Ken!

Jump In...

I'm a barbie girl, in the barbie world

Life in plastic, it's fantastic!

you can brush my hair, undress me everywhere

Imagination, life is your creation

Come on Barbie, let's go party!

Life in plastic, it's fantastic!

you can brush my hair, undress me everywhere

Imagination, life is your creation

I'm a blond bimbo girl, in the fantasy world

Dress me up, make it tight, I'm your dolly

You're my doll, rock'n'roll, feel the glamour in pink,

kiss me here, touch me there, hanky panky...

You can touch, you can play, if you say: "I'm always yours"

(uu-oooh-u)

hit the town, fool around, let's go party

You can touch, you can play, if you say: "I'm always yours"
