June 21, 200520 yr Author Sweet. My first thread gets hijacked about some kid who wanted to commit suicide. Nice. I've noticed the gameday threads get to be a lot more negative than others. I've noticed that on other boards too. I tend to be a homer, but generally try to be non-reactionary either way. I can't help but feel REAL good about this team this year though. And not in the way I felt before the season. That was more of a "we will have a legitimate chance to get to the playoffs" kind of feeling. Now it keeps creeping more towards "we better do something ONCE we get to the playoffs". But thanks for all the welcomes. I admit football is my sport, but that doesn't mean I don't love the Sox. I might not be the most knowledgeable baseball fan, but I try to hold my own and I live and die with my team just like anybody else.
