Feel guilty for the polluting SUV?

Featured Replies

Not surprisingly, few SUV drivers have been buying them. Most have gone to owners of fuel-efficient cars that produce relatively few pollutants.

That initially surprised Arnold.

"We fully expected to target SUV drivers with SUV guilt," he said. "It just doesn't exist"

Instead, he's been travelling to environmental fairs pitching the idea to those who, for the most part, drive fuel efficient small cars and gas/electric hybrid vehicles.

"Environmentalists have a very conflicted relationship with their cars," said Arnold.

I doubt many SUV Drivers have the money to buy those things after they fill up the gas tanks for the 3rd time in the week. It'll get even worse too.

It costs me $50 each week to fill mine.

Don't they give those out at the border when you enter Texas?

Is it a dually?

I sometimes wish it was. It is an extended cab with a full size bed. I need it for my business. Towing a 10 ton trailer takes some muscle. Down the road I may switch to a diesel. 10 miles to a gallon is tough to swallow sometimes.

No gun rack. The Bush Farm and Ranch Team bumper sticker fell off when I got it. It does have a Boy Scout and Country music station stickers.

If I let mine get all the way down to empty, it takes $70-$80 to fill it back up.

Luckily I don't drive it a whole lot and a tank can last me a month or more. :D
